The Historic District: Classic Homes with Charm

Welcome to The Historic District

In June of 1990, the Lee County Historic Preservation Board created the Boca Grande Historic District to be monitored by a supervisory Preservation Board of Island residents. The Boca Grande Historic District is comprised of houses from 1st Street to 19th Street (excluding the properties in the Harbor Drive/Waterways and Boca Grande Isles neighborhoods). The Board encourages architecture that reflects old Florida traditions and styles.
